Tartu County

Tartu county ( maakond Tartu or Tartu County ) is a county in Estonia.

The circle is on the border between North and Southern Estonia Peipsi and Võrtsjärv. It is bordered on the north by the county Jõgeva, Viljandi County to the west and the south by the county Põlva and Valga County. The eastern boundary of the circle is the border with Russia.
