Tatiana Calderón

Tatiana Calderón ( born March 10, 1993, Bogotá ) is a Colombian automobile racing driver. It started in 2013 in the European Formula 3 Championship.

Career

Calderón began her motorsport career in karting in 2001, where she remained active until 2010. In 2009, she also appeared in the Radical European Masters, a European sports car race series at. There she was with a victory in two of the SR5 - rating. Among other things, she beat out her teammate Natacha Gachnang. 2010 Calderón went into formula racing and started for Juncos Racing in the Star Mazda Series. While her teammate Conor Daly won the drivers' championship, Calderon finished their debut season in tenth place in the overall standings. 2011 remained Calderón in the Star Mazda Series at Juncos Racing. In the second race of the season in Birmingham, she came in third place finish. This Calderón was the first woman who was standing in the Star Mazda Series on the podium. Later in the season, she sailed as a third party one more time on the podium. It improved to sixth place overall.

After the end of the Star Mazda Series 2011 season Calderón moved to Europe and took for Team West -Tec in part on the last three events of the European F3 Open. With a placement was 21 points in the drivers' standings. 2012 received Calderón in the European F3 Open a cockpit at de Villota Motorsport. In the winter series, which was held prior to the season, she scored a podium placement. In the regular season, it reached ninth in the championship with a fourth place as best result. In addition, they participated in two events of the Alpine Formula Renault Formula for AV.

Calderón launched in early 2013 in New Zealand for ETEC Motorsport in the Toyota Racing Series. With a fifth place as the best result, they finished the season in twelfth place. Then Calderón received for the 2013 season, a cockpit with Double R Racing in the European Formula 3 Championship. A 15th place was her best result. Moreover, Calderón 2013 Double R Racing took part in the British Formula 3 Championship. There was a third place their best finish, and was seventh in the drivers' standings.
