Tatyana Romanovna Lebedeva (Russian Татьяна Романовна Лебедева, English transcription Tatyana Lebedeva, . Born July 21, 1976 in Volgograd) is a Russian athlete. It was in the long jump Olympic gold medalist and world champion and two-time world champion in the triple jump.

As early as 1994, at the age of 18, she won the bronze medal in the triple jump at the Junior World Championships. At the IAAF 1998 World Cup in Johannesburg, she won silver in the same discipline and repeated this feat in the same year at the Goodwill Games in New York City.

At the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000, she won the silver medal behind Teresa Marinowa (BUL ) and before Olena Howorowa (UKR ) in the triple jump. In the same year she won gold at the European Cup in Gateshead and at the European Indoor Championships in Ghent. The following year she won at the 2001 World Championships in Edmonton before Françoise Mbango Etone ( CMR) and Marinowa, in addition to a silver medal at the World Indoor Championships in Lisbon, another victory at the Goodwill Games in Brisbane, and a gold medal at the European Cup in Bremen.

In 2002 she took a break. In September, she brought a daughter into the world, but was back in top form at the World Championships in Paris in 2003 and won the gold medal ahead of Françoise Mbango Etone and Magdelin Martinez ( ITA), as well as the IAAF World Athletics Final in Monaco and the Russian Indoor Championships. But the following year should be the best of her career.

At the 2004 Olympics in Athens, she won the bronze medal behind Françoise Mbango Etone and Chrysopigi Devetzi (GRE ) in the triple jump. In the long jump she won the gold medal ahead of their compatriots Irina Simagina (Silver) and Tatyana Kotova (bronze). At the World Indoor Championships in Budapest, she won the gold medal with a new world record and the gold medal in the long jump in the triple jump.

Prior to the 2005 World Championships in Helsinki she won all Golden League meetings in the triple jump, so that it was considered the top favorite for the world championships. In Helsinki, then injured himself in the qualification and therefore could not compete in the final battle. After the World Championships, she won the Meeting of Zurich. On September 4, 2005, she then won the International Stadium Festival Berlin ( ISTAF ) the final Golden League powerlifting and thus the complete Golden League jackpot in the amount of one million U.S. dollars. She was thus the sole successor of Tonique Williams-Darling and Christian Olsson, the victors of 2004.

At the World Indoor Championships in Moscow in 2006, she won, as well as at the European Championships in Gothenburg in 2006, the gold medal in the triple jump.

In 2007, she won at the World Championships in Osaka with 7.03 m in the long jump and finished with 15,07 m second place in the triple jump. In 2008 she won with widths of 7.03 m in the long jump and 15.32 meters in the triple jump respectively the silver medal at the Olympic Games in Beijing.

At the World Athletics Championships in Berlin in 2009 she won the long jump with 6.97 m silver medal. In the triple jump she finished with a width of 14.37 m the sixth.

Tatyana Lebedeva has a competition weight of 60 kg at a height of 1.71 m.
