Tatyana Providokhina

Tatyana Petrovna Prowidochina (Russian Татьяна Петровна Провидохина, English transcription Tatyana Providokhina, . Born March 26, 1953) is a former Russian middle distance runner, the Olympic bronze medalist was starting for the Soviet Union.

On August 20, 1978, she presented in Podolsk an unconfirmed by the International Association of Athletics Federations ( IAAF) world record over 1000 m with 2:30,6 minutes on, the ( GDR) through until August 17, 1990 by Christine Wachtel a by the IAAF confirmed superseded record, but was not broken.
