Tau1 Gruis b

τ1 Gruis b ( also Tau1 Gruis b or Tau1 Gruis b written ) is an extrasolar planet orbiting the yellow dwarf τ1 Gruis all 1311 days. Due to its mass is assumed that it is a gas planet. The planet was from John Asher Jones et al. discovered in 2002 using the radial velocity method.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of about 2.6 astronomical units at an eccentricity of 0.07 and a minimum mass of 1.3 Jupiter masses (about 400 Earth masses ).
