Tav Falco

Tav Falco (* in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American musician, actor and documentary filmmaker.

Career

Tav Falco began his career in 1973 when he went to Memphis, Tennessee to shoot film documentaries about legendary blues musician. Inspired by this, Falco founded with Alex Chilton and James Luther Dickinson Tav Falco 's his first band, Panther Burns, better known under the short name Panther Burns.

In 1981, Tav on his first album Behind the Magnolia Curtain, which got good reviews. Falco then went to New York City, New York, where he brought out his EP Blow Your Top on Animal Records.

Later in the 1980s and 1990s he commuted with his psychedelic rock show between Europe and the United States, taking with Panther Burns in various occupations on new plates. In addition, he played supporting roles in musical films such as Downtown 81, Highway 61 and Great Balls of Fire.

He often coverte known Rockabilly and Rock ' n' roll songs that he adapted his style.
