Taygeta (star)

Taygeta (also Tayeta, one of the seven daughters of Atlas and Pleione, the Pleiades ) is the proper name of the located in the Pleiades star 19 Tauri. Taygeta has an apparent magnitude of 4.30 mag and belongs to the spectral class B6IV. Taygeta is about 373 light-years away from Earth ( Hipparcos database).

Taygeta, as all the stars of the Pleiades, occasionally be covered by the moon.
