Tayyiba Haneef-Park

Tayyiba Mumtaz Haneef - Park ( born March 23, 1979 in Upland ( California)) is an American volleyball player.

Career

Haneef - Park started at the Laguna Hills High School, which she attended from 1993 to 1997, with the volleyball. Besides, she was in high school in the high jump active. From 1998 to 2001 she studied at the Long Beach State and was in the volleyball team at the University of various awards. In May 2001, the universal player debuted in the U.S. national team, with which they reached the final in the following year at the World Championships in Germany. In the 2002/03 season she played for the Italian club Pallavolo Reggio Emilia. Then took Haneef - Park with the United States each third place in the Grand Prix in 2003 and the World Cup. After another third place finish at the Grand Prix in 2004 she took part in the Olympic Games in Athens; there defeated the U.S. team in the quarterfinals against Brazil and became the fifth. In the following season played Haneef - Park in Japan Takefuji Bamboo. At the World Championships, the U.S. was ninth. The universal player moved to Russia to VK Dynamo Kazan. In 2007, she was with the national team third in the Pan American Games, Vice-Champion of the NORCECA Championship and third at the World Cup. In the 2007 /08 season, she was active in Turkey Eczacıbaşı Istanbul. In the finals of the Olympic tournament in 2008, the United States had again beaten by Brazil and won silver. Haneef - Park was again a season to Japan and played at Pioneer Red Wings. In 2010 she returned from maternity leave and moved to its current club Igtisadchi Baku. With the national team, she was second in the 2011 World Cup. London 2012 she took part for the third time in the Olympic Games and won after re- final defeat by Brazil silver.

Private

Haneef - Park married in May 2007, the Air Force pilot Anthony Park. In March 2010 they released their first child into the world.
