Tazlina River

The Tazlina River is a 48 km long river in southern Alaska (USA).

It springs fed by the situated on the north flank of the Chugach Mountains Glacier Tazlina Tazlina Lake, flows parallel to the Glenn Highway east and flows 11 km southeast of Glennallen in the Copper River, which flows into the Gulf of Alaska.

The designation of Alaska Natives for the river was documented in 1848 by Rufus Serebrenikov as " Tlieshitna ". Henry Allen used Tureman 1887, the spelling " Tezlina ".
