Tazzelenghe
Tazzelenghe (also Tacelenghe ) is a very old red grape variety that is grown in the Italian region Friuli- Venezia Giulia, especially in the DOC wines of the eastern hills of Friuli region. Tazzelenghe means in the Friulian dialect " tongue cutter".

Ampelographic varietal characteristics
In the ampelography the habit is described as follows:
- The shoot tip is hairy open and wolligstark. The young leaves are medium hairy and fitted with bronze approach.
- The leaves are five-lobed and sinuate strong. The petiole is U-shaped open. The blade is serrated. The teeth are medium in size compared to the varieties.
- The drum-shaped cluster is small and medium- loose-. The roundish berries are medium in size.
Tazzelenghe matures about 40 days after Chasselas, and thus is considered very late maturing. It is a variety of the noble vine (Vitis vinifera ).
