Tazzelwurm (Varieté)

The Tazzelwurm was the first vaudeville theater in Cologne after the Second World War. The building was located on the Zuelpicher road and was one of the few remaining major halls in the largely destroyed postwar Cologne.

Here the first carnival revue was brought to the stage as early as November 1945, in the Big Session 1946/47, were humorous and musical local celebrities such as Greta River, Jupp locks and Gerhard Jussenhoven to get back to some joy into the dreary everyday life among the ruins bring.
