Te Aupōuri

The Te or Te Aupouri Aupouri are the northernmost tribal group ( iwi ) of the Māori of New Zealand. They live on the Aupouri Peninsula, north of Kaitaia in Northland. In the census of 2003, 8,200 residents of New Zealand known as Te Aupouri or their descendants.
