The Technical University of Liberec (Czech: Technická univerzita v Liberci ) is a technical university in the Czech town of Liberec ( Reichenberg ) with about 9700 students.

The University's history goes back to the founded in Liberec 1953 Engineering School. This was 1960 in two faculties divided (mechanical engineering and textile technology). Between 1990 and 1995 four more schools were built and since 1 January 1995, the university carries the name Technical University of Liberec.

Together with the University of Applied Sciences Zittau / Görlitz and the Technical University of Wroclaw, the University participates in the network Neisse University and other universities in the International Graduate School Zittau. She also is a partner school of the University of Ansbach.
