Tecnam P2008
The Tecnam P2008 is a single-engine aircraft of the Italian aircraft manufacturer SRL Costruzioni Aeronautiche Tecnam.
The two-seater aircraft is available as a microlight as a Light Sport Aircraft (LSA ). It combines the metal construction for the wings ( NACA63A profile) and the structure with carbon fiber composite material for the hull, which is stabilized by a steel tube construction. The aircraft is powered by a 100 -hp Rotax 912 engine and a two-blade propeller manufacturer Tonini. The fuel accommodate two 55 -liter tanks in the wings.
The Tecnam P2008 was introduced in April 2009 at the Friedrichshafen European Air Show. The first Tecnam P2008 LSA was delivered in late 2009 in the United States.
