Tecomella undulata is a plant from the family of Bignoniaceae ( Bignoniaceae ). It is the only species of the genus Tecomella. The range of the species extends from the Arabian Peninsula to western India.

Description

Tecomella undulata is a shrub or small tree, whose stem axis may be hairiness. The leaves are opposite or in whorls often are simple and lanceolate.

The inflorescences are composed of a few flowers thyrsi who are terminally on short branches. The calyx is bell-shaped and filled with five teeth. The crown is orange colored, Roehrig provided to bell-shaped, with a wide gullet. The four stamens extend beyond the crown. The anthers are hairless, their counters are apart. In addition to the stamens of a Staminodium is formed. The ovary is elongate - lanceolate, finely rippled and has occupied a number of ovules.
