Ted Allen

Ted Allen ( born May 20, 1965 in Columbus, Ohio ) is an American author and television presenter.

Life

Allen studied at Purdue University and at New York University. Allen was known by the American television series Queer Eye, which won the Emmy. In the series, he worked as a connoisseur of food and wine.

As an author, Allen wrote a number of books on 'lifestyle topics for men like good behavior, behavior in marriage or good occurrence in society. After the end of the TV series, he was host of a cooking show ( Chopped ), in which four chefs compete in competition with each other, in the U.S. television channel Food Network. In addition, he hosted the cooking show Food Detectives, were revealed in the myths about the food. In various other cooking shows Allen is often seen as a guest.

Allen lives with his life partner, Barry Rice in Brooklyn, New York City.
