Ted Moore

Ted Moore ( born August 7, 1914 in South Africa, † 1987) was a South African cameraman.

Life and work

1914 Ted Moore was born in South Africa, but his family moved with him in 1930 to the UK. During the Second World War he served in the Royal Air Force. He was a member of a film department. His film career began as a camera operator. In the 1950s he worked as a cinematographer for some of Albert R. Broccoli produced films and was later the cameraman of seven James Bond movies.

The highlight of his career was being awarded the Oscar in 1967 for A Man for All Seasons.
