Tedorigawa Dam

The Tedorigawa Dam (Japanese手取川 ダム, Tedorigawa - damu ) is a dam in Japan, the most Tedori in the Town of Hakusan ( Ishikawa Prefecture) in the vicinity of Mount Haku -san is on the main island of Honshu.

The dam serves several purposes, namely flood control, water supply and hydroelectric power generation. The hydroelectric power plant produces a rated output of 250 megawatts.

The shut-off is a 153 meter high dam of rockfill material with a sealing core. The dam has a volume of more than 10 million cubic meters.
