Taqali (also Tegali, Tagale, Tegele, Tekele or Togole called ) is a Kordofanian language that is spoken in Kordofan in Sudan, in and around the town of Rashad.
It belongs to the group of Rashad languages within the Niger -Congo language family and is closely related with the language Tagoi.
There are two varieties, Rashad or Gom ( Kom, Ngakom, Kome ) and Tegali - Proper. One observes that the two are nearly identical, and are regarded as a specific language. On the other hand, consider the Tegali itself there as two separate languages.
