Content
The country Amberground lies in eternal night, only in the capital, Akatsuki spread an artificial sun light. Travel only the " Letter Bee " messenger that transport the hearts of the people between the three districts of the country. So travel through this country, Gaichu live in the darkness. These giant insects eat the hearts of the people and only the Letter Bee venture out through the darkness.

The manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump appears in since issue 10/2006 of 6 September 2006 the publishing house Shueisha in Japan. Later, the series moved to the magazine Jump SQ. The chapters were also published in the previous 16 anthologies. The manga was translated into English, French and Chinese. A German version has been published since September 2010 Tokyopop in 15 volumes so far.
Anime adaptation
2009 animated Studio Pierrot ( not to be confused with Studio Pierrot, which was next to TV Tokyo producer of the series ), directed by Akira Iwanaga an anime series based on the manga. The Character Design Minako Shiba designed and producer was Noriko Kobayashi. It created 25 episodes each with 21 minutes of run time.
The series was first broadcast on Japanese TV October 3, 2009 to March 27, 2010 simultaneously by TV Tokyo, TV Hokkaido, TV Aichi, TV Osaka, TV Setouchi, TVQ Kyushu Hoso and Gifu. This was followed by repetitions regional station. Crunchyroll published an English- subtitled version via streaming.
From October 2, 2010 to March 27, 2011 in Japan followed a second season of Tegami Bachi Reverse with the title, which was broadcast simultaneously on TV Tokyo, TV Hokkaido, TV Aichi, TV Osaka, TV Setouchi, and TVQ Kyushu.

The music of the series, except for the opening and closing credits title was composed by Ryo Kunihiko.
