The Teikyo University (Japanese帝 京 大学, Teikyo daigaku ) is a private university located in Tokyo, Japan. The University is a member of the Teikyo University Group, the three universities, carries some twenty high, professional and high schools, as well as the campus in Berlin ( Germany ), Denver (USA ) and Maastricht (Netherlands).

History

The school corporation was (冲 永 荘 兵卫, 1903-1981 ) as Teikyo - Commercial School (帝 京 商业 学校, Teikyo shōgyō Gakko ) founded in 1931 by Okinaga Shōbei. The name Teikyo called " the imperial residence " or Tokyo. In 1966 the school corporation the Teikyo University with two faculties of economics and humanities.
