Tekov

Tekov ( German bass, Hungarian bars ) is the name of a landscape in Slovakia. Derived from it is the name of the former Hungarian county bars, the name itself is derived from the main castle of the area, castle perch.

The area lies in today's middle and southern Slovakia, the Slovak name " Tekov " is now used as an unofficial name given to this area.
