Teleconference

Teleconference called a conference at which the conference participants not staying at the same place.

The first form of the teleconference was the conference call, in which only language was transmitted. With higher bandwidth, for example, by use of one or more ISDN lines, then the image in video conferences can be transferred.

Today can be viewed together with the Application Sharing besides voice and video image and the contents of a computer screen. This requires higher data rates and is usually over the Internet. For this purpose, special software is needed.
