Tell Mašnaqa (Arabic: تل مشنقة ) is a prehistoric site in the Haburregion. It lies about 30 km from al-Hasakah away in what is now Syria. The site was excavated in 1990 by a Danish and a French archaeological team, which mainly finds of Obed- time and the Uruk period came to light. The tell was flooded after the construction of al -Hasakah dam. He had an area of ​​about 4 hectares and a height of 4 to 11 meters above the surrounding plain.
