The Tellermine 29 was an anti-tank mine in the Reichswehr and the Wehrmacht in World War II.

History

The Tellermine 29 was introduced as a 1929 anti-tank mine in the Reichswehr. Until 1931 when production ended, an inventory of about 61,000 pieces in the depots was present. It was used until the end of World War II. Successor was introduced in 1937 Tellermine 35

Operation

The mine, which was hidden or stored openly in the lid had three receiving channels for the train - pressure igniter ZDZ 29 Three other sub-channels in the side and bottom of the mine were responsible for the resumption fuse igniter discharge. To trigger the mine a load of 125 kg was needed. But also a setting with 45 kg was possible.
