Tembakounda

Tembakounda is the source region of the River Niger, West Africa's longest river, which in the Gulf of Guinea, 4180 km away, opens in the Niger Delta. Tembakounda is 745 meters high in the mountains - Daro. These form the Guinean part of the Loma Mountains.
