Temptation ( German: " Temptation " ) is the first studio album of girl group Monrose. It was published on 8 December 2006 under the label of Star Watch ( Warner Music) and is attributed to the genres Pop and R & B.
Some songs on the album were produced by Dieter Falk, one of the three judges of the fifth season of the talent show Popstars. The rest of the songs were written and produced by well-known European producers and songwriters, including Toni Cottura, Jiant and Marc Mozart. By the end of May 2007 Temptation was sold over 400,000 times and it got double platinum status.

Background
Production
The entire album was recorded in the period from October 2006 to November 2006, mainly in the Munich Weryton studios. Each of the six Popstars finalists sang all twelve songs on the album, so you could the voices of the three winners mix match each other directly after the final. Some songs were sung, but not making it on the final album, including Black Train, Diamonds & Pearls and Kiss & Tell. The title Butt Butt was initially available exclusively at Music Load for download .. Diamonds & Pearls and Butt Butt later appeared as a B- side on the single Even Heaven Cries.
Criticism and reception
Temptation was mostly well received by critics, the critics Stefan Johannesberg of online music magazine laut.de described the songs on the album as " British catchy". Monrose träten as " Destiny Pussycat Dolls and Childs " on. The album was a huge success: It immediately reached the top of the German, Austrian and Swiss album charts and was certified platinum for more than 200,000 copies sold in the first week of sales. Until June 2007, Temptation was sold over 400,000 copies worldwide.

Monrose confirmed in a live chat on the website of the television station KI.KA that the next single to come out end of April 2007, as submitted by Temptation and will be listed on the Bravo Super Show 2007. Monrose appeared entitled Do That Dance, which this song was initially confirmed as unofficial. In May of this year, Monrose corrected in a live chat of the Amadeus Award, there will be a new, unknown song. On May 24 Monrose occurred at the final show of the second season of Germany's Next Topmodel, and introduced the song Hot Summer.
The song Push Up on Me is since June 14 The Model and the Freak used as the theme music of the docu-soap.

Do That Dance is a book written by Alain Boublil, Claude- Michel Schonberg and Richard Maltby song for Temptation. Do That Dance was indirectly Guemmour confirmed as the third single of the band by band member Senna by placing them in a live chat of the television KI.KA the question of whether the next single at the Bravo Supershow should be listed in 2007 said yes.
