Temptation ( German: " Temptation " ) is the first studio album of girl group Monrose. It was published on 8 December 2006 under the label of Star Watch ( Warner Music) and is attributed to the genres Pop and R & B.

Some songs on the album were produced by Dieter Falk, one of the three judges of the fifth season of the talent show Popstars. The rest of the songs were written and produced by well-known European producers and songwriters, including Toni Cottura, Jiant and Marc Mozart. By the end of May 2007 Temptation was sold over 400,000 times and it got double platinum status.

Background

Production

The entire album was recorded in the period from October 2006 to November 2006, mainly in the Munich Weryton studios. Each of the six Popstars finalists sang all twelve songs on the album, so you could the voices of the three winners mix match each other directly after the final. Some songs were sung, but not making it on the final album, including Black Train, Diamonds & Pearls and Kiss & Tell. The title Butt Butt was initially available exclusively at Music Load for download .. Diamonds & Pearls and Butt Butt later appeared as a B- side on the single Even Heaven Cries.

Criticism and reception

Temptation was mostly well received by critics, the critics Stefan Johannesberg of online music magazine laut.de described the songs on the album as " British catchy". Do That Dance

Do That Dance is a book written by Alain Boublil, Claude- Michel Schonberg and Richard Maltby song for Temptation.
