Temsa

TEMSA GLOBAL A.Ş., abbreviated Temsa, is a Turkish bus manufacturer which was founded in Adana in 1968. Temsa part of Sabancı Holding, which is the second largest conglomerate in Turkey. Since 1984, the company manufactures buses. The company premises in Adana is located on a total area of 400,000 square meters, of which 58,500 square meters are covered with buildings. The trucks, however, are produced in the 153,000 square foot facility in Adapazari. Annually Temsa produces about 1,000 coaches, 1,000 Midi- buses and 13,000 trucks. Since 2008, the company is also too general importer of Mitsubishi Motors.

History

Temsa Global was originally a business just for the sale of cars and construction machinery. In 1984 the company began the manufacture of buses under license from Mitsubishi. With the " Safari " came in 2001, the first in-house development of the company on the market. Since then, the company is independent and has presented 11 own new developments until the present day. Temsa is now one of the largest independent bus manufacturer in Turkey.

The luxury bus Diamond was having a length of 13.90 m and a power of 480 hp is the flagship of the company and was replaced by the three-axis and also now 14,07 m long safari HD14.

In addition to numerous international titles in design and technology Temsa received at Busworld, the world's largest and oldest exhibition for buses, the award " Busbuilder Of The Year 2008".

City Buses Temsa are exported to Europe, transport operators. In Germany, for example, operates the Havelbus Transport Company since the end of 2012 some three-door cars of the Avenue LF.
