Tena (actually San Juan de los Dos Ríos del Tena ) is a town in Ecuador. It is the capital of the province of Napo and Canton Tena in the Amazon basin. The city has 19,898 inhabitants ( 2005 estimate ), and lies at 598 m above sea level at the confluence of the rivers Tena and Pano with the Misahuallí.

History

Canton Tena
