Terence Blacker

Terence Blacker ( born February 5, 1948 in Hadleigh, Suffolk ) is a British writer and journalist.

Terence Blacker worked first as an amateur jockey, then 10 years as a book editor (responsible for the works of Jerzy Kosinski ). Since 1983 he works as a full-time writer, his first children's book " If I Could Work " was released in 1987. His most famous work is the successful Miss Wiss children's book series. Since 1994 he also works as a visiting professor at the University of East England, where he teaches writing. Terence Blacker writes a weekly column in the newspaper The Independent.
