Teresa Lourenco

Teresa Lourenco (* 1981 in San Fernando ) is a fashion model from Trinidad and Tobago.

At the age of 14 years Lourenco moved with her family to Hamburg -Eimsbuettel. She was discovered on the street and became the favorite model of John Galliano. She now belongs to the league of international top models. Now she lives in New York. Lourenco is married to NBA player Richard Jefferson.

It was in 1999 on the title of Vogue Germany, Elle (USA), in May 2005 on the cover of Cosmopolitan (UK).

Lourenco ran between 1997 and 2000 in fashion shows of haute couture for Christian Dior, Chanel, Jean -Paul Gaultier and Valentino and worked in ad campaigns, including for Emanuel Ungaro, Ralph Lauren, Samsung, Tommy Hilfiger, Victoria 's Secret, Wolford and Yves Saint Laurent.

Jean -Paul Gaultier praised Lourenco. "I 'm entranced by this girl because she embodies what modern society is. (...) It is like the next Christy Turlington. "
