Tespe
The municipality is located in northeastern Tespe the district of Harburg, and belongs to Elbmarsch in Lower Saxony.

Geography
Location
The municipality is located in the eastern part of the Tespe Elbmarsch. In the west the town of Malsch night and in the north the same border on the east and south borders of the district of Lüneburg on.
Community structure
Tespe consists of the villages Tespe, Bütlingen and Auendorf.
District Tespe
The district Tespe lies south of the Elbe. The village has its own recreational boating harbor. Its neighboring villages are in the south Bütlingen, in the east and in the west Auendorf Upper march night. Tespe is the most recent of these villages with about 300 years. In the village there are many clubs, such as the TSV Tespe, which cooperates with the SG Elbmarsch, or a shooting club Tespe. Another important organization, the volunteer fire department Tespe be mentioned is the oldest fire department in the district of Harburg, which has existed since 1854.
History
Since the year 1986 there were in Tespe a higher than average number of children who are suffering from leukemia. These diseases are placed in the press and by some scientists an expert opinion in connection with the nuclear power plant crumbs and located on the opposite side of the river GKSS Research.
Incorporations
The municipality was created in its present form by the territorial and administrative reform on 1 July 1972. Prior to the communities Tespe, Auendorf and Bütlingen were self-employed and belonged to the district of Lüneburg.
