Tessa Mittelstaedt

Tessa Mittelstaedt ( born April 1, 1974 in Ulm ) is a German actress. Notoriety she gained among other things, her role in the crime scene Franziska Lüttgenjohann Cologne on the side of Klaus J. Behrendt and Dietmar Bär.

Life and work

After training at the Westphalian Drama School in Bochum she studied with John Costopoulos Method Acting and in the MK Lewis Master Class.

Several engagements took Mittelstaedt true at the theater. So from 1997 to 1999 at the Schauspielhaus Bochum, 1999-2001 at the Drama Theatre NRW Wuppertal and from 2001 to 2006 at the Dresden State Theatre. In the season 2009/2010 Tessa Mittelstaedt was the Schauspielhaus Bochum as Karen in a family: to see ( August Osage County).

TV

From 2000 to 2014, it played through the role of Franziska in the WDR contributions to the ARD series Tatort. Other roles played Mittelstaedt from 2003 as Cynthia in the ZDF television series The Prince and the Maiden, from 2005 as Jana Holsten in the ZDF television series Five stars and from November 2007 as Lilo Behringer in the 6-part ARD TV series Elvis and the Commissioner. It has also had various guest appearances, including in the television series Alarm for Cobra 11 - The Motorway Police, SOKO Wismar and the coroner. Since 2012 she plays as a prosecutor Elke Rasmussen one of the main roles of the ARD evening series Heiter bis fatal: murders in the north. In November 2012 Mittelstaedt announced the phasing out of the crime scene series. After nearly 13 years and 43 episodes she left with the airing of the episode Franziska on 5 January 2014 the Sunday television series. Because of extreme brutality of this scene was to be sent for the first time only after 22:00 clock.

Mittelstaedt lives in Berlin.
