Tetrapolis
Tetrapolis (from Greek Τετράπολις, tetra- for four and polis for city, so four of Cities ) called in ancient times:
- One of the twelve districts, was divided into the attic before the time of Theseus, see Tetrapolis ( Attica )
- Four closely spaced cities in the Central Greek landscape Doris
- The Tetrapolis in the Roman province of Syria, see Tetrapolis (Syria )
- Which belonged to the Syrian city of Antioch on the Orontes Tetrapolis alone.
- The Tetrapolis on the island of Kefalonia, see Tetrapolis (Kefalonia )
