Tetsuya Kakihara

Tetsuya Kakihara (Japanese柿 原 彻 也, Kakihara Tetsuya, born December 24, 1982 in Dusseldorf, Germany ) is a Japanese seiyū and singer. As a seiyū, he stands at the agency 81produce under contract as a singer under the label Kiramune. Since June 2013 he is self-employed. Having grown up in Germany, he speaks Japanese fluently German and English.

Career

Kakihara came in 2003 with his degree at the Amusement Media Academy. In 2007 he received for his role as Mikoto Yutaka in the series Princess Princess, together with Masakazu Morita, the seiyū of Ichigo Kurosaki from the anime television series for manga series Bleach, the award for best young seiyū conferred in the year for the first time seiyū Awards.

As a singer Kakihara has his first mini-album still on Journey published on 10 November 2010. His second mini-album Continuous published on 15 February 2012.
