Top of Teufelstättkopfes

The Teufelstättkopf is a 1758 m high mountain in the Oberammergau Alps on the border between the municipalities and Unterammergau Saulgrub.

The summit is accessible as a mountain hike (some slip resistance ) of Schloss Linderhof, Oberammergau or Unterammergau over the August- Schuster -Haus. In addition, the Teufelstättkopf is a popular ski touring destination in the winter.

The path to the August- Schuster -Haus is manageable from all directions easily in about two hours. From there the summit in about half an hour is achievable, taking in the final meters, the hands must be taken to help ( sure-footedness and freedom required).
