Teuffenthal
Teuffenthal (BE) is a municipality in the administrative district of Thun in the canton of Bern in Switzerland.
It is not to be confused with the community Teufenthal in the canton of Aargau.
Geography
Teuffenthal located in a small side valley of Zulg, about 10 km east of the city of Thun. The municipality is located in the montane belt, 770 - 1396 m above sea level in an area of 453 ha A real center does not exist, Teuffenthal consists of hamlets and individual Hofsiedlungen. Shops, there is no other than a bakery.

Traffic
Teuffenthal is connected by the STI bus 33 via Homberg, Steffi Thun castle and the public transport network.
Special
Worth mentioning is the sewage treatment plant. It is based on a so-called root zone system.
On the highest point of the municipality, the Blueme, is a viewing tower, which offers a view into the Bernese Oberland, Mittelland and Emmental.
