Thaddeus Shideler

Thaddeus " Tad " Rutter Shideler ( born October 17, 1883 in Marion (Indiana), † June 22, 1966 in Collbran ( Colorado)) was an American track and field athlete.

In the Summer Olympics 1904 in St. Louis won Shideler the silver medal in 110- meter hurdles. Until shortly before the Olympic Games in 1904 with 15.0 seconds Shideler held the unofficial world record over this distance.
