Thaddeus Vincenty

Thaddeus Vincenty ( born October 27, 1920 in Grodzisk, Poland, † March 6, 2002 in Gaithersburg (Maryland), USA ) was a Polish- American surveyor.

From him comes, among others, an algorithm from 1975 to solve the first and second main task of geodesy.

He was instrumental in the creation of the " NAD83 " (North American Datum ).

He emigrated in 1947 to the USA. His wife was named Barbara. He had a daughter named Krysia and two sons with the name Michael and Richard.
