Thailand Route 32

Thailand Route 32 ( Thai: ทางหลวง แผ่นดิน หมายเลข 32 - Thang Luang Phaen Din Lek May 32, in German: National Road 32, in English usage: Highway 32) is a 194 km long expressway in Thailand.

It begins in the district ( Amphoe ) in the province of Bang Pa In Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya at the motorway junction of Thanon Phahonyothin ( Route 1 ) and the Outer Bangkok Ring Road ( Motorway 9). Then leads you through the provinces of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Ang Thong, Singburi, Chainat until it directly on the border with the province of Nakhon Sawan back on Thanon Phahonyothin meets.

Until the mid- 1990s, this highway was a toll road. The two toll stations still exist today, but are only used as an administrative building.

Highway 32 is compared with other long-haul routes, the shorter and faster route from Bangkok towards Nakhon Sawan and the northern region of Thailand. It belongs to the Asian Highway Network AH1 AH2 and as well as the Kunming -Bangkok Expressway.

In the years 2008/2009 was due to the high volume of traffic between Bangkok and Nakhon Sawan, the highway to six lanes, in parts even expanded to eight lanes.
