Thanatotherapy

Vladimir Baskakov Jurjewitsch (born 1954 ) is a Russian psychologist and psychotherapist who has developed the Thanatotherapie. It is a form of body therapy.

Baskakow is the founder and first president of the Association of body-oriented psychotherapist in Russia and a member of the European Association of body-oriented psychotherapists ( EABP ). Previously, he was head of the psychological team of Navy Department of the USSR and a member of the Committee for Physical Culture of the State Sports Committee of the USSR. Since 2002 he is director of his own Institute for Thanatotherapie in Moscow.
