Thaya is a municipality in the district of Waidhofen an der Thaya in Lower Austria with 1402 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013).

Geography

History

Thaya was first documented in the year 1175th Among the possessions of the Counts of Raab Thaya was one of the main towns. 1294 was to survey the market. Culture and sights
