The Adventures of Blinky Bill
Blinky Bill is an Australian animated series by Yoram Gross for children about a little koala who experienced numerous adventures with his friends. It is based on the eponymous book by Dorothy Wall. In Germany they first aired in September 1994 on Das Erste. There were other repercussions of the series in the various programs of the third German, and later in KiKA. The series also ran in Captain Blue Bear Club.
Background
Blinky Bill is based on the books of the Australian writer Dorothy Wall from the 1930s. The original book title noisy Blinky Bill, Blinky Bill and Nutsy, and Blinky Bill Grows Up.
First, the 1990 animated film Blinky Bill was born: The Mischievous Koala directed and based on the book by Yoram Gross. In 1993 the series. In contrast to the series, where the backgrounds are drawn, you can see real landscapes in the movie. As the figure arose in the beginning of the nineties as a cartoon character, Blinky Bill became world famous.
In addition to the series, there are two full-length films to character Blinky Bill: Blinky Bill's White Christmas and Blinky Bill.
