The Adventures of Pinocchio (1996 film)

The Adventures of Pinocchio ( Original title: The Adventures of Pinocchio ) is a family movie from 1996, directed by Steve Barron. The main roles are to hear and see only at the end of the film Martin Landau as Geppetto and Jonathan Taylor Thomas as Pinocchio. The film loosely based on excerpts from the novel by Carlo Collodi, which appeared in 1905.

Action

The young Geppetto carves in a pine tree into a heart with his initials and Leonas, as he has fallen in love with her. When he's done and gone, this tree is hit by lightning. Differences from the novel

  • The fairy who breathes life of a tree trunk is not shown or mentioned. Fulfills a similar function Leona.
