The Asteroids Galaxy Tour

The Asteroids Galaxy Tour is a Danish Soul & Funk band from Copenhagen.

Members

Is band center are Mette Lindberg and Lars Iversen, extended occupation by Miloud Carl Sabri, Sven Meinilid, Mads Brinch Nielsen and Rasmus Valldorf. Lars Iversen writes most of the songs. He often uses smaller samples.

History

In the summer of 2007, Lars Iversen and Mette Lindberg met. He played her some of his songs and followed shortly thereafter by the first shots in a " Living Room " as well as the recruitment of the other four band members.

The group became known for their song Around the Bend, which touch commercial was used in an Apple iPod, which aired from October 2008.

Your first major success already achieved, the band at their first public appearance in Copenhagen as the opening act for Amy Winehouse, as this has toured Denmark. The group also played at some concerts on Katy Perry's European tour in summer 2009. In April 2009, they had made ​​an appearance in the show One Shot Not ARTE. In Germany, the band performed, among others, the Hurricane Festival (2009 ) and the Southside Festival ( 2009) and the first time on 13 December 2008 at Molotow in Hamburg on 26 September 2009 at Knust in Hamburg.

Their debut single The Sun Is not Shining No More was released in July / August 2009, their debut album Fruit was released on 18 September 2009.

The song is used in the Golden Age Heineken commercial The Entrance (January 2011).
