The Ballad of High Noon, Do Not Forsake also known as Me, Oh My Darlin ' (Eng. not leave me, my favorite ) is the theme song of the Western Twelve clock noon ( High Noon ), which was published in 1952. The music was composed by Dimitri Tiomkin and the text by Ned Washington. Was sung, the film song by Tex Ritter. Other versions come by Frankie Laine and Bill Hayes.

The song won the Oscar for Best Song in 1953. The song reached number 25 on the list of AFI's 100 Years ... 100 Songs, a list of the top 100 songs in American cinema.
