The Barber of Siberia (Russian: Сибирский цирюльник ) is a Russian film from 1998 directed by Nikita Mikhalkov, who also wrote the screenplay with Rustam Ibragimbekow. .
Action
In 1885, the American Jane Callahan travels to Russia to play there for the Inventors McCracken a decoy. McCracken, who is working on a woodcutting machine ( the " Barber of Siberia" ) needs the favor and support of General Radlov to be project finance can. Jane intended to ensnare the army representatives, but fell in love with the young cadets Andrei Tolstoy, the she meets by chance on the train on arrival.
