The Bellrays

The Bellrays (also Bellrays ) are a rock band from Riverside, California. Founded in 1990 by singer Lisa Kekaula and her future husband Bob Venuum ( bass) oriented on the one hand at Detroit rock bands such as The Stooges or MC5 and classic soul bands on the other. Main songwriter of the band 's guitarist Tony Fate. Their debut was released in 1991 and recorded live "Let It Blast ", followed by their second album " Grand Fury 1992 ". A compilation of both albums released on the label Creation Records founder Alan Poptones of McGhee. With changing drummers, the group is still active and has released six albums. Lisa Kekaula was resurrected with the MC5 as a singer on tour.
