The Bible Story

People in God's hands is a multi-volume edition of the Bible stories that were retold by Arthur S. Maxwell for children.

Overview

This series, which belongs to the tradition of children's Bibles, has been from 1953 to 1957 first published in English in the Free Church of Seventh- day Adventists. In a total of 411 stories in 10 volumes, most events of the Bible are told in a manner tailored to children's fashion. Originally written in English, The Bible Story, there have been early translations into Spanish, French and German language, which led in these language areas to widespread use. The German translations published between 1964 and 1971.

In the years 2000 to 2002, she appeared again in a different guise in eight volumes under the title: Family Bible people in God's hands.
