Nickelodeon world protector is a format of the TV channel Nickelodeon. The Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards the title of the Nickelodeon world protector is awarded for the best of children's self- conceived environmental protection project. Voting shall be in the form of an audience vote. In the period prior to the ceremony, the various projects will be presented in reports, specials, etc.. Viewers can evaluate the projects online; the most popular project is implemented.

The format was moderated in 2008 by Marcus Werner, who also has the mission of WOW moderated The Entdeckerzone on Super RTL. The English version is called Nickelodeon Big Green Help.

Nickelodeon world protector is in the context of the student and youth competition Discover the diversity of nature! , Which is organized by the German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU ). The action in 2009 under the patronage of Federal Environment Minister Sigmar Gabriel, was also involved in the Conservation Federation Germany ( NABU).

2010, the action was launched again. It began on April 1, 2010 and ended on 30 April of the same year.
